The H. N. White Company offered a top notch Repair Department. All instruments made at the factory came with a "Guarantee" bond against fundamental defects in material and workmanship. This guarantee did not include plating and normal use. In the early days H. N. White himself would do repairs and was always looking for cheap instruments to buy and then resale after some minor repairs were done. Later, there was a staff of fifteen who handled repairs from replating to small dents. Also, H. N. White Company was unique in that they offered a "limited" guarantee on all repair work. The repair depatment was shut down in the late 1970's.
